Family Owned ... Family Focused ... For Three Generations

In Memoriam
James M. Campbell (1922 - 2010)
Madeleine M. Campbell (1924 - 2015)

James and his wife Madeleine founded the James M. Campbell Funeral Home in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia in 1951. After serving his country during World War II he realized that a profession in service to others would be a rewarding and meaningful life's dedication. After graduation from the Eckel's School of Mortuary Science and receiving the Dean's Award in 1948, for almost sixty years until his death in 2010, he provided the distinctive care and compassion so needed during the death of a family member. The funeral home was the residence of James and Madeleine since its inception. It is where they raised their daughters and were an integral part of their church and surrounding community.

Dianne Campbell Thomas has been a part of her family's funeral home for as long as she can remember. After graduation from Melrose Academy, Temple University and The American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City she became a Licensed Pennsylvania Funeral Director in 1970 and embarked on a life long dedication to help families cope with the death of someone they love. In 1982 a dream of expanding the Lawndale location was realized and the Campbell Family opened their Bucks County funeral home and their dream became a reality. Dianne resides in the historic fieldstone farmhouse to which the funeral home addition was constructed with the 18th Century foremost in its design. She imparts a much needed sense of female sensitivity to her profession and her life long dedication and experience in all aspects of funeral service have truly become assets to the establishment. In 2014 she completed Certified Funeral Celebrant training to enhance the quality of service Campbell Funeral Homes provides to the families they are honored to serve.

Danielle Thomas Kraft is proud to be the third generation of funeral service within Campbell Funeral Homes. Much like her mother Dianne she has been a part of her grandfather's funeral establishment for as long as she can remember. After graduation from Abington Friends School in the Class of 1990 she attended Susquehanna University. She is a graduate of The American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City where she was elected Class Secretary. She became a Licensed Pennsylvania Funeral Director in 1995. In 2015 she completed Certified Funeral Celebrant training. Danielle is embraced by every family she serves for her compassion, sensitivity and expertise in all areas of her chosen profession.

James P. Brady became a member of "our family" in 2007. His expertise, caring and generous nature are wonderful attributes to our mission. Graduating in the Class of 2004 from Cardinal Dougherty High School he completed his post graduation education at the Northampton Community College Funeral Service Education program in the Class of 2006. While attending college he was Treasurer of Sigma Phi Sigma and at graduation he was the recipient of the Pennsylvania Funeral Director's Association Excellence in Education Award. He became a Licensed Pennsylvania Funeral Director in March of 2008 and in 2015 completed Certified Funeral Celebrant training. Jim also received his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) designation from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice in 2017. We are grateful that he has joined our family in our dedication to provide unparalleled professional service.
