Memorialization

Meaningful Memories

At Campbell Funeral Homes we are committed to the meaningfulness of the funeral ceremony. We listen to the individuality of your family and the family member you wish to honor. Through a combination of listening and gentle guiding we help you to plan and carry out a meaningful tribute. Memorialization is a way the funeral ceremony can be personalized; from the type of casket or urn, to the style of prayer cards, to the music that is chosen. In addition to these choices, all of our directors are trained Certified Celebrants. A Funeral Celebrant serves by providing a funeral service, memorial service or tribute that is personalized and individualized to reflect the personality and life-style of your family member. By offering choices a personal and loving tribute is created individually for you.

In our Richboro location we have a sound system that will play gentle instrumental background music throughout the building and a video system that can showcase the memories you have of your loved one on a personal video presentation. This can be a presentation orchestrated by a family member or facilitated by a company we recommended. Custom memorial folders can also be chosen and printed with photographs, verses and poems.

Photograph Collages and Displays

We encourage you to bring in special memorial items. Photographs, objects reflecting favorite hobbies and items of special interest can be displayed. Photograph collages capture the personality of the person who has died and the relationships gathered over the years. The necessary items needed to create the photograph collages are given at the time of the arrangement conference.

Special Music

When the funeral service is held at our Richboro location, we have the ability to play background music, as well as music for the service through our sound system. A beautiful baby grand piano is a focal point of the foyer and available for your use. Whether played by a family member or friend or if you wish us to provide a pianist for you, live music is always an elegant touch to time spent in the funeral home. We also have requests for bagpipers or other musicians to be present. We can offer guidance in this area as well.

Custom Memorial Cards, Tri-folds and Portraits

Our funeral home can offer to you the selection of customized memorial cards, tri-fold memorial folders and custom portraits. These items can be very significant to a memorial service when an immediate cremation is chosen.

Honoring A Veteran

We at Campbell Funeral Homes are proud to honor your Veteran. At the time of the arrangement conference we can offer suggestions as to how to personalize the visitation or viewing with a patriotic theme. From the floral arrangements to the American Flag being prominently displayed throughout the visitation a reverence and honor is given to your loved one for the service he or she has given to our country. We can arrange for military honors at the gravesite or at the conclusion of services if there is no interment. For an honorably discharged Veteran, active duty military personnel within the branch of service your loved one was a member are present to play Taps and fold the flag and present it to the next of kin or any particular person designated as the recipient.

Memorial Tree Program

When a family purchases a Batesville casket or urn, Campbell Funeral Homes will arrange for a tree to be planted through Batesville's Living Memorial program. Batesville Casket Company developed a simple concept that has grown from its inception in 1976 to become a major contributor to reforestation with more than 11 million trees planted as a lasting memorial to loved ones.

With every Batesville casket or urn purchased, their special agreements with various government agencies arrange for a tree seedling to be planted in selected woodlands throughout the world. More than just a fitting tribute, this program provides for trees that shelter our wildlife, reduce water and wind erosion, and contribute to the purity of the air we breathe. It's a way to honor your loved one with a lasting memorial while helping the environment.

The Living Memorial program helps ensure that future generations will know the beauty of a green planet, a lasting legacy to a life well lived. Campbell Funeral Homes can provide you with more information on how you can participate in this program.
