Obituary

Michael J. Wilson, a life long resident of Lawndale, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2017.

He was the beloved husband for 45 years of Barbara A. (nee: Theveny) Wilson and the devoted father of Michael J. Wilson and his wifeTara, Matthew B. Wilson, and Elisabeth Wilson Morello and her husband Christopher. He was the loving Pop of Braxton, Alex, Benjamin and Jude and the cherished son of Elisabeth D. Wilson and the late George J. Wilson and the dear brother of the late George J. Wilson, Jr. He is also survived by sisters and brothers–in-law and their families.

Mike was an avid fisherman who was devoted to his family and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 6 to 8PM at the James M. Campbell Funeral Home, 500 East Benner Street Phila., PA 19111 and Wednesday 8:45 to 9:45AM in Saint William Church, 6200 Rising Sun Ave., Phila. PA 19111. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM with interment following in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
